  1. scout review

Posted by Josh skidmore on Jul 30th 2017

Had the scout for bout two weeks now and I haven't shot a slingshot in years since I used to play around with them all the time back in the day but in only two weeks with or without the power bands but I like the power bands better I can set up 20 yards 30 yards from target and put holes all in a Coke can in my shot trap I made so the scout is a very good and consistent shooting slingshot accuracy comes with practice and skill

  2. Simple but accurate fun

Posted by Abe G. on Jul 25th 2017

I'm 43, I haven't used a sling shot for about 30 years. I just started using the Scout, and having a great time, it's also relaxing to the mind. The accuracy is mind blowing, and the straps are not difficult to pull, but are incredibly powerful, and quiet. I can use the Scout in the garage, or backyard, and it doesn't disturb or concern the neighbors. It's just good fun. Shooting the scout requires smooth breathing, and I started to relax the second I started aiming at a target. Thanks!

  3. Scout

Nice slingshot. Shoots well with practice. Rather small for a person with large hands. I wear an extra large glove. However with practice I can believe I'll be able to shoot at least average.

  4. Nice Slingshot

Recently purchased the Scout slingshot and am very happy with it. Fits nicely in my hand, comfortable and accurate. Thanks Nathan!

  5. Real Nice!

Posted by Sal DeSimone on Jul 7th 2017

This frame is very nice. I love the band securing clips, they are fast and more precise when trying to even up the two sides. I would love to see another version made thinner and lose the bulbous handle.

  6. Great slingshot for starting out

Posted by Mike on Jul 6th 2017

This slingshot is everything all the reviews said. It's comfortable to shoot in any grip and easy to load with any elastic and in any configuration. What this means is that for someone just starting out (like me) you can try all different things out to see which way you like to shoot. Shoots great in every way I've tried it. Don't know what more to say besides shipping was fast. Great experience overall

  7. Outstanding Little Slingshot

Posted by Terry Spears on Jul 6th 2017

I love this slingshot! It's well made, small and compact, and very accurate. The system for securing the bands is very innovative and allows for a lot of flexibility. It's a blast to shoot! Simple Shot is also a pleasure to do business with!

  8. Fun to shoot

Posted by Bill on Jul 2nd 2017

I remebered how much fun we had as kids shooting sling shots and wrist rockets, so I wanted to get a simple sling shot that was of good quality. I purchased the scout and it exceeded all my expectations. This thing has been a blast. I have large hands and the handle feels great. The handle is well made and looks nearly indestructible. Great company to deal with too. Fast delivery, great product, great customer service. Thats all I want!

  9. Scout Gen 2 review

The scout is light weight and well made. It didn't take long to find my anchor point and start hitting 8 out of 10 bullseye.

  10. First Catapult/slingshot

Posted by Todd Griese on Jun 24th 2017

After reading a ton of reviews, I broke down and bought my first slingshot, a scout. I purchased the kit (with ammo and glasses). After a few practice shots, I started to get the hang of things, and grouping shots within 5 inches at 30 ft (I even managed to hit the lego I had set up at the center). The scout is pretty much fool-proof. Easy to sight down, set up and consistent in its shots. If only I was as consistent...Great starter. (a better manual on TTF setup would have helped a bit.)

  11. New favorite

Posted by clinton gillaspy on Jun 11th 2017

Love the design, feels great in the hand.clips are easy to use and everything fits great. Ability to use any type of bands is a big selling point too

  12. One of the better slingshots on the market

Posted by James M Coombe on May 21st 2017

I am fifty eight and started shooting slingshots about 50 years ago. IN those fifty years I have owned at least 40 different models of slingshots I also have been a fairly prominent archery coach for 20 years and until I suffered an elbow injury a couple years ago, I shot archer (Olympic recurve and field crossbow) all over the country. The Scout has one of the better handles of all the slings in my collection. I generally favored the wrist brace versions but the Scout allows a very strong grip and the balance is excellent. The quality of the elastic bands is top notch too. It fits well in my pocket. I plan on obtaining several more models from your company

  13. Best all rounder

Posted by Dave on May 19th 2017

I bought this as a primary ttf shooter and have to say I'm impressed with it, especially the bands that came with. Easy to draw and with enough practice thanks to gamekeeper johns how to aim vid I became very good at shooting targets over 7 metres ( in my house passage). The scout is highly recommended for beginners and veterans because the fork width is wide enough and the flip clip is a god send. The slingshot is literally hard as nails and u won't worry about breaking it coz it won't . Only small problem I have with it is if you put strong bands on and shooting gangsta the slingshot is not stable because there isn't enough area to pinch grip it and hold it firm unless u have massive hands or put some rubber around it to compensate. I have this problem when I shoot over 15 metres. Apart from this issue I love the scout. I'm in London and this took around 5 days to come to me. U.K. Buyers should get this with confidence.

  14. My first "Proper Slingshot"

Posted by LNS on Mar 25th 2017

I had a series of "Wrist Rocket"-type slingshots but had never been able to do well with them.

I bought a "Scout" and am practicing with it every day. I'm already miles ahead of where I had been (in terms of hitting what I'm shooting at) with the wrist slingshots.

  15. GREAT

Posted by Christopher M. on Mar 17th 2017

This is my second slingshot and might I say I'm very impressed. Easy to use and great handling.
