The Savannah River Slingshot Shootout 2026 heads to Iva, South Carolina from March 27–29 for a full weekend of competitive shooting, good company, and classic slingshot fun. Shooters of all experience levels are invited to test their skills across a wide variety of events including WSA Knockdowns, a Woods Course, Speed and Distance shoots, and several special events, all set on a relaxed outdoor range with camping available on site. 

The event is family-friendly, with youth divisions welcomed, meals provided, practice ranges available, and plenty of space for parking and camping, plus nearby hotel options for those who prefer indoor lodging. Entry is $45 for participants, $20 for youth ages 12–18, and free for kids 11 and under, making it an easy excuse to spend a spring weekend shooting, camping, and swapping stories along the Savannah River.

The Alabama Catapult Carnival 2026 returns to Eliska, Alabama from April 10–12 for a laid-back, grassroots slingshot gathering that blends friendly competition with true Southern hospitality. Hosted in southwest Alabama, this one-of-a-kind event features Woods Course and Speed competitions set in a relaxed outdoor environment that welcomes shooters of all skill levels. 

With on-site camping, a practice range, trade table, meals available, and plenty of parking, it’s an easy weekend to settle in, shoot, and connect with fellow slingshot enthusiasts. Entry is just $35 for participants and $10 for spectators, making it an accessible and family-friendly event that focuses as much on community and fun as it does on competition.

The East Coast Slingshot Tournament 2026 in Alverton, Pennsylvania, running May 29–31, is less of a casual meetup and more of a proving ground for serious slingshot shooters. Often described as the ultimate test of precision and consistency, ECST attracts top-tier competitors from across the country who come to measure themselves against some of the best marksmen in the sport. 

With a demanding lineup that includes Knockdowns, Woods, Speed, Distance, and Special events, and clearly defined Pro and Novice divisions, the focus here is on performance and skill under pressure. The venue supports the intensity with a full practice range, trade tables, on-site camping, indoor restrooms, and spectator-friendly access, making it an impressive experience whether you’re competing or watching. 

Spectators and kids attend free, participant entry is $60, and tickets are available online or at the gate, reinforcing ECST’s reputation as a must-attend event on the competitive slingshot calendar.

The 2026 Tennessee Slingshot Gathering takes place June 12–14 in Monterey, Tennessee and is all about relaxing, shooting, and enjoying time with friends rather than competition. This annual meetup is not a tournament and has no formal events or divisions, just an easygoing group of slingshot enthusiasts getting together to practice, swap gear, tell stories, and enjoy the outdoors. 

Hosted at Spacious Skies Campgrounds, the setting offers a dedicated practice range, plenty of parking, and multiple lodging options including on-site camping and cabins, making it a comfortable weekend for shooters and families alike. With no entry fees for participants or spectators, the Tennessee Gathering is the perfect event for anyone looking to enjoy slingshots in a low-pressure, community-focused atmosphere.

The Amazing Indiana Marksmanship (A.I.M.) 2026 Slingshot Tournament lands in Greencastle, Indiana from October 23–25 and is quickly earning a reputation as one of the most ambitious and well-organized slingshot events in the country. 

Designed as a true three-day test of versatility, A.I.M. challenges shooters with two unique woods courses, WSA knockdowns, speed, special events, and a long-distance shoot-off that pushes both skill and nerve. With divisions for youth, amateur, and professional shooters, the event balances serious competition with an inclusive, community-driven atmosphere. 

Hosted at Jaycee Park with support from local parks and tourism organizations, the weekend includes on-site camping, meals, practice ranges, trade and raffle tables, and ample parking. Entry is $60 for adults, $45 for kids, and free for spectators, making A.I.M. both a high-caliber competition and a standout fall gathering on the slingshot calendar.
