I just got the Scout X Pro today and shot it about 200 times and Wow!! I was so impressed that I had seen enough to write a review. I like to practice with 7/16 steel ammo bc I plan to hunt with it. So 7/16 steel is all I shoot. The heft, the feel, the fit is just perfect in my hand. I own the Scout LT2 which I've really enjoyed and got me back to shooting. But I always felt like I was fiddling and reaching in my hand to get what felt like a secure hold. I believe my hands are too big for it. So without trying the Scout X I took a leap of faith and went with the Scout X Pro...my gamble paid off. Perfect fit in my hand. I was quickly more accurate with it. I quickly cut three cans at 31 feet just after banding it with 7/16 bands. This thing is amazing and it is all I will practice with daily to improve to the point where I am 100% confident enough to make quick humane shots on rabbits and squirrels. The handle weight for the Scout X does NOT fit the Scout X Pro (unless you buy the plastic scales and grind the weight a little on the side to fit it) in case you were thinking about it....but honestly you do NOT need the weight handle as the Pro is almost twice the weight of the regular Scout X. That being said though I wanted to add a little extra weight to the handle but still keeping my aluminum scales the Pro comes with (even though extra weight it is not needed) just to see how it feels. So I took some BB's from my son's bb gun and wrapped them tight in a small balloon and wedged in inside the cavity of the handle.........nice!! It added a little extra weight and I like it so much that I decided to leave them in there. There is no rattling because they are real tight in the balloon. Just FYI if someone wanted to add some weight to the Scout X Pro which is not needed but I liked the way it felt in my hands with the extra BB weight. If you're on the fence get it...you will be totally impressed and satisfied with it.

A perfect fit
I have a number of Simpleshot frames but the Scout X is my go to so I purchased the Scout X PRO and WOW, I love the attention to detail and design, it fits nicely into my hand and the weight is just the right amount to steady my hand/wrist eliminating the recoil making it real comfortable to handle. The quality for me is second to none, if you are a Scout X fan then the PRO model should be your next buy, you won't regret it. I have the Scout X in green and the Scout X PRO is black.
