1842 bands are ideal for those who prefer a heavier target weight band
A long-time favorite of the Asian slingshot enthusiast, many western shooters are now enjoying the performance, simplicity, and durability of small diameter looped tubular bands. Made in China to SimpleShot quality standards, specifically for SimpleShot, specifically for slingshot performance!
All bands are built around three ranges of draw length:
- Small - Up to 30" (448-480%)
- Medium - 30"-35" (450-477%)
- Large - 35" and Up (450-475%)
Each will display an elongation factor of 450-480% within each range. If you wish to increase the speed of a bandset (increase elongation factor) simply choose the draw length range below your actual draw length.
Example: If you have a 32" draw length and prefer an elongation factor of 550%, choose the 28"-30" draw length for the preferred tubing size. Please note that increasing the elongation factor shortens band life.

I know a lot of shooters say flat bands are faster and more accurate, however, I have found that looped 16/32 tubes are fast and extremely accurate. I love the clean look. The best attribute is the durability. You will spend more time splitting cards, shooting the tabs off cans, and hitting spinners rather than tying bands.

A while ago I discovered that the medium target loop bands I was using was to long. My draw is right at 30", I had Found a small target loop bands I had never used and tried them on my Torque Slingshot - perfect, so I"m niay good to go for daily target practice.

I have only one slingshot that takes tubes. The originals that came with it were very small and had a short draw. I wanted something thicker, stronger, to give more velocity and a much longer draw. I found them with SimpleShot. When I received them, I immediately put them on my slingshot and WOW! Big huge difference. The ones I got were the 2040 tubular. Im hoping one day SimpleShot will make a 2050 available, but for now the 2040's are awesome.
