Life hit me hard. I went out in the backyard and set myself up a target. Before I knew it, I'd spent a couple hours in the sunshine and felt like a human being for the first time in over a month. What a gift that is.

I wanted to get the great grandson into my hobby and away from his phone. His phone would make a swell target. He has a target at 8–12 feet and loves shooting it.

Now at 33 feet I am as good with my slingshots as I am with a handgun. Never thought I could shoot a slingshot so accurately.

I started down the rabbit hole with the Hammer XT. I am now in with 4 SimpleShot slingshots and debating back and forth on which is next.

I joined the Marines to forever be a rifleman. I am still a gun guy, but I also consider myself a slingshot guy.
