FLIPPINOUT R&D- A NEW WAY TO ATTACH BANDS

For beginners or those with butter fingers, tying on the slingshot bands can be a hassle. Well, we have solved that problem with our patent pending band attachment method that mates to our 3G forktips. After months of prototypes and testing, we are almost ready to build the tooling for our new band attachment method. The thing that makes our attachment unique is the 'live hinge' behind the male component of the binder. This hinge prevents overtightening and damage to the bands and ensures that the bands stay put, regardless of how the are stretched. It works in both 'over the top' orientation as well as 'through the forks'.

We hope to have this new accessory available as an upfit for existing Scout owners by the end of November 2013. Once it is in production, it will be a standard accessory on all Scout Slingshots.
