Integrated ClipsMachined brass, built into the frame. They hold your bands through the forks — they fit one way and never need to come off.

Adjustable SightBrass, with an adjustable fiber-optic that catches the light. Infinitely adjustable, so you can dial in your aim.
Wear the lanyard, every time
Loop it securely around your wrist before you draw. A frame that slips at full draw can cause serious injury. No exceptions.
Never shoot rocks or stones
No matter how round they look, they fly unpredictably and can damage your frame, your bands, and whatever's downrange. Shooting rocks from any SimpleShot slingshot voids the warranty.
Check your bands before every session
Look for nicks, tears, or thinning near the pouch and the clips. When in doubt, swap them out.
This is not a toy
A slingshot is a real tool that demands respect and supervision. Know your backstop, know what's beyond it, and follow the laws where you shoot.

Setup
Your Spartan ships with the lanyard installed, sights on. Here's how to mount your bands and dial the sight to you. Learn to tune your bands at simple-shot.com/power.
Install your bands

Loosen the clip fasteners with the 2.5 mm hex key.

Place the band into the clip either side of the metal shim.

Tighten the fasteners. Hand-tight is plenty — don't over-tighten, or you can damage the band.
The clips fit one way and never need to come off. Make sure bands are secure before shooting.
Set your sight
The sight moves so you don't have to. Keep your stance and anchor exactly where they're comfortable, and let the sight chase your shots.

Loosen the sight fastener with the hex key.

Move the sight toward where your shots are landing. Shooting high? Raise the sight. Landing left? Move it left.

Tighten it back down, take a few shots, and fine-tune.
Most shooters hold one-handed and only need the sight on the top fork. Run that one, take the other off, and keep it as your spare — there are no replacement parts for the Spartan.
Fiber-optic colors
Green is installed and ready. Prefer red or orange against your backstop? Swap it in seconds — pick the color that pops most where you shoot.
Care — let it age
The Spartan is built to be shot, and it's built to show it.
The brass darkens and takes on a patina the more you handle and shoot it — that's the material doing exactly what it should. You can polish it back to bright if you want to; it's your slingshot. But our suggestion is to let it age — those marks are the record of every session, and the frame will look better in fifty years than the day it shipped.
FAQ
Does the Spartan come with everything I need to shoot?
Yes — frame, two bandsets, matching ammo, three fiber-optic colors, the hex key, lanyard, and a PRO Series dog tag, all in its own pouch. You bring the backstop.
Can I shoot it over-the-top (OTT)?
No. The Spartan is built for through-the-fork shooting only. Now might just be your time to start shooting TTF, if you're not.
Will the brass tarnish?
It'll patina, by design. It won't affect performance, but it will look better and better the more you use it.
Is there a replacement-parts kit?
No — the Spartan was a one-time run of 320 with no replacement parts. You will only need one sight, so there is a spare included, and there's plenty of fiber optic included as well.
