What is the most important part of your slingshot?
Well, that's a loaded question, right?
Is it the Frame?
If you don't have a frame (whether it's a forked stick, a Hammer or anywhere in-between), you can't shoot. **Insert sighs from bareback shooters here.**
Frames are awesome. Different slingshot frames allow different grips and holds. They have style and design... colors, even.
The pouch?
No pouch? Well, yes. That's a problem. There's a case for the pouch being the most important part of your slingshot. Shooting straight out of the latex is not recommended. (As in, do not do it!)
Is it the latex?
(You knew where this was headed, right?)
The engine of the slingshot is the latex.
The best frame in the world without bands is a fancy y-shaped thing.
So we've put a lot of effort into latex, here at SimpleShot. Our latex offerings have changed over the years.
Theraband Gold used to be our "gold" standard.
Amber medical latex held its spot at the top for a while (remember that .40?).
Precise was sold as our "Performance" latex for a time...
Then we introduced SimpleShot Black latex...
Then we refined it...
Then we refined it again.
Until, today we believe we have the best slingshot latex in the world.
And, now we've increased our offering to include 1mm thick latex.
This stuff is lightning in .7, so we're excited to see what amazingness you all come up with now that it's 1mm thick!
