Introducing the Torque X slingshot!
Back in 2014 we worked together with Mark Seljan to bring you the original Torque slingshot. The Torque has been loved worldwide ever since and has one of the most devoted fan bases you will ever see. People love its asymmetrical yet ambidextrous design, and frankly, it just looks awesome.
And over the years, we have also received feedback about what people would love to see in the next generation of the Torque slingshot. Here's what we heard:
- It's small, but we'd love it even smaller.
- We don't need such wide fork tips.
- We don't need the holes for looped tubes.
- Don't reduce any weight.
- Make the fork suitable for a full pinch grip.
So the Torque X is exactly the slingshot you asked for!
It is slightly smaller than the original, with smaller fork tips. We removed the holes for looped tubes to make the fork tips smaller with a dedicated tie in band attachment. We did not reduce any weight (in fact we added a tiny bit of weight.) And the new Torque X is built for a full pinch grip.
You asked for it, we did it.
