Is wrap and tuck still the preferred method of slingshot band attachment?

Is wrap and tuck slingshot band attachment the best, or is a clamp system better?

Is wrap and tuck slingshot band attachment the best or is a clamp system better?

The answer is… Both.

This is not an issue of which one is better, but rather which one you prefer. Both methods work perfectly well and will accomplish the same thing in the majority of situations. It really comes down to which one you prefer.

For us, we couldn’t imagine putting a band attachment system on a natural slingshot. Some slingshots just look right with rap and talk. It would be crazy to put a band attachment system on a beautiful natural made from an antler, for example.

And at the same time, it would also be crazy to not use the FlipClip band attachment system on a scout slingshot, in our opinion. With a system that makes it so simple to attach your slingshot bands to your slingshot, there’s not a great reason to use rap and talk in that situation.

Bottom line, it’s up to you. Do what you like best and what pleases you most, and don’t forget that aesthetics is a legitimate reason to choose one over the other.
