    Super stoked

Received my scout today. As this is my first real slingshot i have nothing to compare it too. The quality is great. Got the green/brown combo and its a really nice finish. No burs and very quality done. Only downside is upon istalling the bands one of the plastic washers for the retention clips broke to pieces screwing it down. Not sure if my error but i will just order the replacements. I think what made this purchase so special was the customer service. Nate and i emailed back and forth about 10 times before i purchase the scout. The customer service cant be beat and there is no such thing as a dumb question. Buy yourself one of these and have some fun. Next to get my daughter one for xmas. Thanks simple shot!!! Ps. If your new to slingshots like me, simple shot has a youtube video for everything.

    Such a pleasure to shoot

I'm in my 50's and just getting back into shooting sports - all kinds... handguns, shotguns, archery - after more than 30 years. My siblings and I had so much fun plinking around with slingshots we made from tree branches, I decided to give slingshots another try. Well, this is not the slingshot we had as kids, and we had no idea then just how accurately you can shoot one. This little gem has raised my expectations considerably. It fits so nicely in my hand and has a nice weight to it. It feels very natural to shoot with. The bands are so much better quality now, too. I was a horrible shot at the start, but thanks to all the excellent instruction videos, my marksmanship is steadily improving. Can't wait till my sibling see how well I can shoot this thing. ;-)

I got the scout because I read so much about it. I have to say they were right. I have an axiom also that I absolutely love, but I find myself shooting the scout more lately. It is amazing. The flip clips are awsome, and a brilliant idea. It is so easy to shoot good with the scout. It is a great slingshot

Well about half a year ago i purchased the torque and out of all the other slingshots I own i loved the torque over all the others. I often asked my self can it get any better than this? Yes ,it can. The scout is the slingshot to end all slingshots. The price the way it shots how it feels in my hand I'm sorry torque I love you dearly but I'll be out back more often with Tiffany that's what I named my scout. Am I the only one that's gives them names? Any way I can't say enough on the awesome customer service and great products simple shot has to offers thank !!!!

Received in a timely fashion. Was a little upset I had the extra charge on delivery. All in all fantastic piece. The power and accuracy are incredible.

    First time slingshot owner

Posted by Tom R. on Sep 11th 2017

I purchased the Scout as my first ever slingshot purchase. At 52 yrs old I thought it time to try out shooting slingshots, better late than never. I have to say I've been enjoying it very much as an after work wind down. I put on some music and plink away at the makeshift target I've erected in my backyard. I've always enjoyed shooting air rifles, but this is a low cost , neighbor friendly alternative. I've enjoyed it so much in fact I've already ordered band and ammo sampler packs. I find the Scout to be very solid, and fits my hands well. I put "hands" because I alternate shooting right and left handed as I am right handed but left eye dominate. I'm experimenting with which type of band setup I prefer, OOT vs TTF. I find the tutorials on the website very helpful and refer to them often. Next step is to build out a shooting range in the basement, so as the weather turns I can continue to practice (aka relax and de-stress).

    scout review

Had the scout for bout two weeks now and I haven't shot a slingshot in years since I used to play around with them all the time back in the day but in only two weeks with or without the power bands but I like the power bands better I can set up 20 yards 30 yards from target and put holes all in a Coke can in my shot trap I made so the scout is a very good and consistent shooting slingshot accuracy comes with practice and skill

    Simple but accurate fun

Posted by Abe G. on Jul 25th 2017

I'm 43, I haven't used a sling shot for about 30 years. I just started using the Scout, and having a great time, it's also relaxing to the mind. The accuracy is mind blowing, and the straps are not difficult to pull, but are incredibly powerful, and quiet. I can use the Scout in the garage, or backyard, and it doesn't disturb or concern the neighbors. It's just good fun. Shooting the scout requires smooth breathing, and I started to relax the second I started aiming at a target. Thanks!
