Great slingshot. I've started shooting with the B-B bands on this slingshot using the orange practice ammo. This is a good band match to the light weight ammo. The on line videos have been very helpful in learning the ins and outs of using this slingshot and tuning it for accuracy. Highly Recommended
This is the second scout I purchased. A different color this time. I just enjoy owning and shooting this slingshot. It is a prized tool. I make my own out of various woods but the Scout is a class act and I enjoy using it. Thanks Nathan.
I'm getting back into Slingshots. At least 80% of the responses to what is the best slingshot for a beginner is The Scout. Buy this Slingshot!!! This is the best slingshot for a beginner. Shoot it OTT or TTF, Flat Bands or Tubes,Shoot it with Either Hand. Its great. The best part, you don't have to worry about tying your bands. Just learn to shoot.
With your assistance, I've been shipping these to deployed Marines since 2010. I use a 5/8" forstner bit and another small bit to embed and epoxy a gold EGA tie tack. The durable rock chucker bands are appropriate for the boondocks. The Marines love them.
Excellent quality... first rate. I'm impressed with the products, the website and customer service... definitely five stars ***** across the board!
Feels nice in my medium sized hand. I like the convenience of the flip clips in changing bands. Expect long use from this slingshot. Liked this one so well I bought an Axiom Occularis after it arrived.
Love this slingshot. I'm way more accurate with this slingshot than any others that I've shot over the years. I really like the ability for quick and reliable band changes with the flip clips. Makes it really easy to go back and forth between band sets. Get one, you will love it too!
I got the Scout after not having shoot a slingshot for more than 40 years. I used to make my own from tree forks as a kid. It's been a blast since I received my all black Scout. I just had to order it after reading so many good reviews and recommendations on slingshot forums. It feels great in the hand - light, sturdy and fun to shoot. I have since got the Torque to add to my collection. They are both different designs but both put a smile on my face each time I hit the target. You won't regret getting either one. Kudos to Simple Shot for the great products.
First slingshot for me....absolutely love it...so many options and ways to do things... I get to try ttf,ott- as well as multiple grip styles...I LOVE THIS SLING!
