After reading a ton of reviews, I broke down and bought my first slingshot, a scout. I purchased the kit (with ammo and glasses). After a few practice shots, I started to get the hang of things, and grouping shots within 5 inches at 30 ft (I even managed to hit the lego I had set up at the center). The scout is pretty much fool-proof. Easy to sight down, set up and consistent in its shots. If only I was as consistent...Great starter. (a better manual on TTF setup would have helped a bit.)

Love the design, feels great in the hand.clips are easy to use and everything fits great. Ability to use any type of bands is a big selling point too
One of the better slingshots on the market

I am fifty eight and started shooting slingshots about 50 years ago. IN those fifty years I have owned at least 40 different models of slingshots I also have been a fairly prominent archery coach for 20 years and until I suffered an elbow injury a couple years ago, I shot archer (Olympic recurve and field crossbow) all over the country. The Scout has one of the better handles of all the slings in my collection. I generally favored the wrist brace versions but the Scout allows a very strong grip and the balance is excellent. The quality of the elastic bands is top notch too. It fits well in my pocket. I plan on obtaining several more models from your company
Best all rounder

I bought this as a primary ttf shooter and have to say I'm impressed with it, especially the bands that came with. Easy to draw and with enough practice thanks to gamekeeper johns how to aim vid I became very good at shooting targets over 7 metres ( in my house passage). The scout is highly recommended for beginners and veterans because the fork width is wide enough and the flip clip is a god send. The slingshot is literally hard as nails and u won't worry about breaking it coz it won't . Only small problem I have with it is if you put strong bands on and shooting gangsta the slingshot is not stable because there isn't enough area to pinch grip it and hold it firm unless u have massive hands or put some rubber around it to compensate. I have this problem when I shoot over 15 metres. Apart from this issue I love the scout. I'm in London and this took around 5 days to come to me. U.K. Buyers should get this with confidence.
My first "Proper Slingshot"

I had a series of "Wrist Rocket"-type slingshots but had never been able to do well with them.
I bought a "Scout" and am practicing with it every day. I'm already miles ahead of where I had been (in terms of hitting what I'm shooting at) with the wrist slingshots.

This is my second slingshot and might I say I'm very impressed. Easy to use and great handling.

Like it so much I made a super grip version in walnut oak and teak.
Haven't shot one in 35 years

I am 52 going on 12, which is probably about the age I last used a slingshot. On a whim, I bought the Scout, set it up (FlipClips are awesome) and pretty much right out of the gate was hitting good groups at 10 yards. The more I shoot it, the more I want to shoot it. I'm more than a little impressed by the amount of power it has out of the box, passing clean through my makeshift target of 6 layers of corrugated cardboard. I'm planning on using it for small game, and have absolutely no concerns about it. More than enough impact there. Couldn't ask for a better reintroduction to slingshot shooting.

wonderfully accurate slingshot, a tad rough to learn to set up correctly. But performs like a BOSS

As a beginner this review will be far from authoritative. I received my Scout in less than a week after placing the order which was great.
I began shooting right away and was consistently hitting a soda can from around 30',I was surprised and pleased. All was not great however as I experienced several fork hits - not the fault of the slingshot - but the hits damaged the plastic washer/bushing on the screw side and they had to be replaced. If you are new to shooting I would suggest ordering a few replacements when you order your Scout. Metal parts on the FlipClips may solve this one flaw with an otherwise excellent product. And as I become more proficient fork hits will cease to be a problem. I recommend SimpleShot, Nathan and the others there are very helpful and good to do business with.

This thing is cool. My first slingshot, and it's a blast. I am trying tube bands because the flat ones are a pain in the brain for me. The finger grooves on it give me a solid feel, and after a few days I was nailin anything I wanted.
Nice and perfect
