International Slingshot Day

What is International Slingshot Day?

Well, these days there seems to be a holiday for about anything and everything, right? Some of these days are great and some can be downright silly, aren't they. So we decided that it was time for an International Slingshot Day last year and we're making it annual.


It's a day to celebrate slingshots and the people who mentored us in slingshots. A day to offer a tribute to the people who mean the most to us and helped us most in the joy of slingshots.

So here's the challenge for International Slingshot Day.

Think of the one person who influenced you most in your journey into slingshots, and give a tribute to that person. International slingshot day will be a tribute to the people who mean the most to us in the world of slingshots.

And here's what to do:

  • Make a tribute to the person you want to honor.
    This could be a simple sentence or two, a video or photo with caption.

  • Post your tribute wherever you would like.
    This could be Facebook, YouTube, a blog or other social media.
    Or, you can just send us a text-based post directly without posting it anywhere.

  • Send us your submission here.

    Fill out our form to let us know you've made a submission and we will repost it for you on Feb 20.
    If you didn't post it somewhere already, you can just paste it into the form.

This is your chance to honor the person (people) who influenced you most in our favorite sport of slingshot shooting. 


Who inspired you?


Who taught you the love of the sport?


Who showed you the joy of slingshots?


This (and every) February 20th, let's honor the people who helped us discover the joy of slingshots.


You can write an article.


You can make a video.


Make a presentation of any kind.


Simply make a comment on our YouTube video.
