Do you aim differently if you are shooting a homemade slingshot or a production slingshot?
The short answer is no. If you are shooting a natural slingshot or a slingshot made by SimpleShot, the process of aiming and shooting accurately is the same.
The mechanics of the shot and the process of aiming remains the same no matter what.
With any type of slingshot, you need a consistent anchor point, a consistent reference point, and the same mechanics of the shot.
