PortugalFirst time experience
After many videos analysed on youtube and the Simpleshot website, I received my slingshot. With the target set at 10 metres, the use of biodegradable balls and a controlled environment, everything seemed easy. But no. Even with a light, robust slingshot model and fibre-optic reference sights, the result on the target with ‘official’ measurements was far from what I wanted. After a few days, it started to get better. In terms of Scout X, I consider it ‘top’. All that's missing now is some weekly practice.

You know for a 72-year-old just starting out slingshotting I have had so much fun by purchasing the scout XT first which I love and now going to the Scout X with the fiber optic. couldn’t get any better. The clips are very flush and the optic is very bright great reference point. The Scout X that I purchased is this Slade color. simpleShot, yup did yourself again thanks for the great product and great price. Did you guys and gals say this was habit forming.

I am brand new to the vast world of slingshots. My interest was sparked when my daughter received a gas station special from her grandmother. The nostalgia set in instantly. Memories of my trusty wrist rocket came flooding back. I decided to see just how far the slingshot game has come since the time of the wrist rocket, and I was pleasantly surprised. I did some research and boiled it down to the Scout line from Simple Shot. After watching several (hours) of video from Nathan, I settled on the Scout X. The short period of time it took for my new sling shot was equal to waiting for Santa as a 6 year old. When it finally arrived, I cut my bands to the proper length and started slinging. With a little work on my form and making sure to stay consistent, the can shredding began. And I was hooked. The Scout X has been amazing! The only thing I could find to say about this wonderful slingger is that the grip is a bit narrow when using the pinch grip. A friend of mine purchased the Scout LT2 which boasts a slightly thicker grip that fit nicely for me. Needless to say I ordered the LT2 when the Labor Day sale came around and now it’s back to December 23 waiting next to the mail box! Thank you very much to everyone at Simple Shot for all of the helpful videos and awesome products! In the great words of Arnold Schwarzenegger….. I’ll be back!

Other than flinging rocks with a Wham-O slingshot as a kid, I had never seriously shot a slingshot. After seeing a few videos on YouTube, I wanted to give it a try. Ordered a Scout X and I'm glad I did. After watching the great instructional videos on this site, it was easy to set up and get started shooting. From day one it was satisfying to be able to consistently hit some larger sized targets. After a few months, the targets are getting smaller. A quality well made product.

As a novice slingshot user I’m finding the Scout X superb. The ability to set it up either OTT or TTF and the variety of grip styles that the frame design allows make it perfect for someone trying to figure out what’s best for them. The quality is brilliant too and I can’t imagine why I’d ever need to buy anything else!
