We stock premium quality latex sheet from the Hygenic Corporation and we purchase directly from the manufacturer, so you can be certain it is fresh and well cared for. The .030" thickness is preferred by most slingshot enthusiasts and provides a high performance band capable of high elongation and snappy retraction. Sold in 42" length x 10.5" width.

From the manufacturer: "A unique and proprietary manufacturing method allows The Hygenic Corporation® to produce natural rubber latex sheeting with exceptionally tight tolerances and many different thicknesses to meet most customers' requirements. Because it is made primarily from pure natural rubber latex, its superior physical properties, when compared to calendered rubber sheeting, make HYTONE™ sheeting desirable in applications where high tensile strength, elongation and tear resistance are required."

    Fast, Faster, Fastest

Posted by Jeremiah on Sep 18th 2017

I'm starting my second year shooting slingshots. Have learned a lot about the subject, amazed at what you can do with slingshots today. I spend several hours a day on the range and shoot 50 to 150 target rounds daily.

For speed an impact, Amber Latex is my choice, though Theraband Gold is also very good. I'm shooting 6.5'-7', tapered bands. Very fast, and hit hard, (feral cats just hate it). Band life is around, 300-500 shots, depending on how rough I use the bands, and if I'm in the sun a lot. However, I'm testing "303 Aerospace UV spray" it seems to have increased the amount of time before band failure.

    From Italy: latex 0.30

Posted by Max on Feb 7th 2017

I don't have yet had time to prove it. I'd like to try a double layer version for a 1/2 inch amno. The latex seem perfect. I'll let you know very early.
    Greetings from Rome.

    Wonderful!

I used Theraband Gold, which is still amazing. However, I've fallen in love with the latex. Thank you for a great product.

Extremely good product. .030 is lightning fast and .040 is close for throwing the heavy stuff.

This is really good stuff. It's pretty potent though and I wouldn't recommend it for shooting less than 1/2" steel unless you have a fork that needs something a half inch wide or less.

Of course physics dictate it's not quite as fast as .030. It's still "through and through" fast.

    .040

I like it. It shoots really fast but a good bit harder to pull. It's good if you need the extra power though.

    All about speed

Posted by Rocky on Dec 20th 2015

I use pure latex bands because they are simply the fastest bands you can get. Bulk latex allows me to make the bands to the length and taper I find works best. With me its all about speed.

This is great band material. I am very pleased with it. Much better than the .026 Theraband gold.

    Best

Posted by Nick on Nov 5th 2015

I think this is the best flat ands that I have found so far.

Please keep in mind that the slingshot bands are made from a natural material. This means that we have no way of predicting the life of the band. Even the best maintained bands can fail inexplicably or have a short life time. Despite our best efforts, using high quality industry standard materials and testing; approximately 1% of the bands fail early. We do not provide a warranty of any kind on bands.
