Our latex die-cut slingshot bands are offered in .030"thick amber pure medical latex and .030" thick SimpleShot black latex. These bands are cut with precision steel rule dies, in house, on our pneumatic clicker press, so that you can be assured of consistency and quality from band to band.  The advantage of the steel rule die is that nicks and inconsistent cuts are eliminated, resulting in a product that outperforms and outlasts hand cut bandsets.

These bands are offered in packs of 12 pieces, each 10" length

    .875 in / 22.2 mm x .6 in / 15 mm Taper (Oustanding Taper)

I find the .875 in / 22.2 mm x .6 in / 15 mm Taper bands to be a great all around taper for 3/8" steel. I really like this material in this taper. You will too. Just save some for me!!!

I like making bandsets but I HATE cutting bands.

I like making bandsets but I HATE cutting bands. With these I can let someone else do the part I don't care to do myself. Makes the whole process much easier and uniformity is very consistent.

    SS BLACK .030 [var. tapers & straight-cut]

Posted by Thistle on Jan 8th 2018

I can never find a sharp roller blade, and I’m always misplacing rulers and templates. I detest cutting bands!!! There! I said it :) I love die-cuts. They come in most of my favorite tapered & straight-cut widths to match ammo and fork tips. 10.5 length is not an issue for me with ‘extended' draw. Very consistent long-lasting performance. Straight-cuts are a bit slower than tapers, of course, but band life is exceptionally high and perfect for EDC general purpose target practice and advantageous band longevity. It’s not necessary, but I do wax my cotton twine. I also prefer an envelope tri-fold for maximum durability. And of course black looks super with everything. 303 keeps them fresh. I was extremely loyal to looped tubes —until SimpleShot black latex came along.

    Great bands

These die cut bands are amazing! Each one is exactly the same as the other. I could make bands in the dark if I needed to knowing how well each one matches to the next. Just have two knots and you got yourself a brand new slingshot band!

    Finally!

I've been a TBG fan for years. I like the "cushion or soft feel" they seem to have. Well, here's an even better alternative. My new favorite. I'm getting incredible long life out of these bands.

    Die-cut Theraband Black Bands

Shoot well and look good on the natural catapults I make. Like idea of better resistance to UV rays.

Please keep in mind that the slingshot bands are made from a natural material. This means that we have no way of predicting the life of the band. Even the best maintained bands can fail inexplicably or have a short life time. Despite our best efforts, using high quality industry standard materials and testing; approximately 1% of the bands fail early. We do not provide a warranty of any kind on bands.
