Zap Bow Slingbow

Quantity:

The Zap Bow is a new slingbow innovation from a slingshot enthusiast based out of Chile SA.  For the traditional archer, the Zap Bow provides a very intuitive feel and crossover from traditional archery equipment.  The patent pending fork design offsets the linear forces found in more common wire frame slingbows and results in better arrow flight and more efficient use of the propulsion provided by the latex bands.   Designed to be shot with feathers off the shelf, the Zap bow provides an open sight picture and outstanding arrow flight.  For right hand shooters only.

Please note:  we only have a few of these available and all are hand made prototypes.  As such, they are not cosmetically perfect and may show chipped paint or other cosmetic defects.  Please view the video for more information on the Zap Bow.

Handle color may vary from light brown to dark brown.  All Zap Bows come with Theratube Black bands and D-Loop serving.  The bands will need to be tuned to your draw length and installed prior to use.

Introducing the Zap Bow 03:12

The Zap Bow. SimpleShot is helping an inventor from Peru bring a unique slingbow to market. Attached above and below the arrow rest, the bandsets come off opposite sides of the slingbow to create a feel much like a bow. These Zap bows are prototypes, but we believe may be of interest to many collectors out there. A very limited quantity available now at https://simple-shot.com. https://simple-shot.com/slingshots/zap-bow-slingbow/

  2. Zap Slingbow

Considering that this a prototype it is well made and does an excellent job of launching arrows. They fly straight and consistently. The wood grip could be made a bit more comfortable, I think it should be shaped a bit less square. An adjustable arm brace like the Hammer would be great too. Apart from those two things it is a very clever and well designed "bow". Small and light it can come along on any outing when you might want or need a bow. Put one in your bug-out-bag.

  3. Needs heavy bands

At some point I will put heavy bands on it and then it maybe a 5 stars slingbow. Lowell

Watching Nathan talk about this and the video, I knew I had to have this. Shipping was fast as always the longest delay was on my part to get the recommended arrows for the sling bow. It shoots like a champ and it easy to group arrow if your an instinct shooter, 45 degrees cant and the upper guide wire are a good reference point to start with. I'd like to work with you guys to improve design and manufacturing aesthetics.
