Axiom Champ™ Poly- Yellow Jacket

Quantity:

The Axiom Champ is the slingshot design that has continually taken first place over the last few years in American slingshot tournaments.  Ray Bazonski, 2012, 2013, and 2014 East Coast Slingshot Tournament Champion and 2014 Midwest Slingshot Tournament Champion, has modified the Axiom design to his needs.  Preferring a very small slingshot, Ray has scaled down the overall dimensions of the Axiom design and increased the handle width.  The result is a truly pocket size slingshot that is capable of not only winning tournaments, but equally at home busting cans in the backyard or hunting small game.  Crafted from CNC routed 1/2" thick HDPE(high density polyethylene), this slingshot is nearly indestructible.  Capable of being banded to shoot over the top (OTT) or through the forks (TTF), this slingshot includes one set of 3/4" straight cut .030" latex bands.  Perfect for the slingshot enthusiast who like really small slingshots or those with small hands.

Dimensions

  • 3-1/4" wide (outside forks)
  • 1-11/16" fork gap
  • 4-5/8" tall
  • 1/2" thick
  • Fork tip width- 3/4"

Check the Starter Kit to add in a pair of safety glasses and 3 lbs. of 3/8" ammo.

Bought 3 of these for my son's. Once they arrived I set them up and tried one out. Well needles to say 10 shots later and I'm on the computer ordering one for myself. Highly recommend this product.

I got these along with a couple of BB Bandsets for some indoor fun. Set it up and sent the first shot right into the bullseye. Granted it wasn't very far away at about 25 feet in a room... Still impressed. Will be trying it with other bandsets once I take it outdoors over the weekend.

The Torque i have is really a nice fun shooter... the axiom champ arrived today by international shipping and i've been shooting it all evening, so much fun being compact. It is now my favorite caty. The combo colors are not boring. A definite recommendation to others.

  6. I was skeptical but...

Posted by Raven on Jun 12th 2017

I was skeptical but this slingshot really one me over! I have always liked the full sized axioms but was reluctant to buy the champ model because of its small size and my big hands. Total waste of worry, the axiom champ nestles into my hand just fine and shoots like a house afire. The universal fork tips give me flexibility when it comes to mounting the bands. Of course I have to mention the awesome black and yellow color scheme, very sharp! Long story short buy this slingshot, you won't regret it.

Looks cool. Pocket-able - Take it everywhere with me. I shoot using thump supported pinch grip. Therefore, it tend to slip in my palm during release. Wrapped with 1 or 2 rubber bands on the handle solve that problem.

As with all Flips, quality is there. I like the size of this slingshot as it fits my hand well. One thing that I would like to see is a pinky hole in the handle but that is just my preference.
