SLINGSHOT POWERBANDS:
In the early fifties Trumark was the first to use HIGH-QUALITY surgical latex-tubing as powerbands on slingshot frames made from round metal rods. With a small amount of alcohol the bands can be installed on the slingshot very quickly without the use of tools, strings, or glue. Both bands are cut from ONE LENGTH OF TUBING so that they are "matched" for tournament shooting . Trumark powerbands are PACKAGED STRAIGHT in a sealed air-tight card to prevent deterioration before installation. NOTE: Powerbands packaged curled will take on a "set", and will not shoot straight when installed.
Instructions included.

Better than what comes on the slingshot

Posted by Kate in KS on Nov 11th 2017

I have a Barnett Black Widow (wire frame) slingshot, which I enjoy shooting, but I didn't care for the bands it came with - too much draw weight to be able to get a clean release. So I replaced them with a set of these, and these are much better. Lighter draw weight, but still powerful enough to chuck a .44 cal lead ball with a satisfying amount of heat.

It's a pain to replace open-ended tubular bands on wire frame slingshots, though. Meh.

    Made In America

Posted by Jolly Roger on Jul 28th 2017

If we are going tro Make America Great Again we need to start buying produces made in the USA instead of those cheap and weak Chinese slingshot bands. I like shooting tubes and these fit nicely through the hole provided on some slingshots with a 3/8" steel ball tucked inside the ends to hold them secure. Nothing to come untied not even on the pouch.

Not much experience but they work for me!

Posted by Joe W. on Jul 31st 2016

Using these on a metal frame wrist braced SS and with my 32 inch pull length they provide a good combination of stretch and power to satisfy me. I'm just starting out in shooting and will experiment with other bands, but for I do like this brand.

These are good bands at a good price. Fast with an easy draw compared to others I've tried.

    Great for 1/2 steel

Posted by Rum Runner on Jun 13th 2016

I have ordered 6 so far. 1st for my old Copperhead that had been collecting dust since the 90's. 6- NOT because the wear out but everyone else wants them, so order 4 for my buds and an extra to try on my Torque. I banded them up on the Torque for TTF and they work great. Check out SS.com's utube channel to see how to tie them.

    Thumbs Up

Excellent hunting bands. I bought 4 sets and the first didn't last as long as others I've had purchased in the past and didn't seem to have the elasticity as others I have used. However, these are still the only bands I'll use for hunting for a clean , humane kill.

Please keep in mind that the slingshot bands are made from a natural material. This means that we have no way of predicting the life of the band. Even the best maintained bands can fail inexplicably or have a short life time. Despite our best efforts, using high quality industry standard materials and testing; approximately 1% of the bands fail early. We do not provide a warranty of any kind on bands.
